Welcome to our first ever book club episode. As excited for that as I’m sure you are, we also have some other great stuff to cover as well. After our usual preamble, George starts to rave about the latest XCOM 2 expansion – War of the Chosen. Shortly after that, George and Gav chat about GTA 5. I’m mostly quiet during this conversation because – hold on to your hats – I’ve never played and have little interest in doing so. You do get to hear my losing my mind over a calculator game not long after that though, so as you can see I’ve been keeping my ear to the ground looking for cutting-edge video games.
Next up is our book club for Games People Play which is a hefty chunk of this podcast. Fair warning that it is tangentially related to games but there is still some interesting talk nestle in there.
Finally, we cap this podcast off with something special devised by George – a Video Game of Life. In it, Gav and I live out our childhood through various video game worlds. Play along and see if you would have had a better life than our tragic stories.
